Castello di Bibbione and the pleasant staff and beautiful surroundings
made available to us. Thank you for such special care while we were there.
We were very happy on our late arrival, when Ginevra made reservation for
our dinner for that evening, and again for our breakfast meals for the
next day. Caterina made our stay as pleasant as she possibly could, taking
care to answer any questions for us and also providing tourist
information. We also would like to thank the lovely woman, Milena, who
took us in her kitchen and showed us how to make the bread. The kind

life and work here in Canada.

Certaldo and Monteriggioni, but also loved the unforgettable days in

We had a magical week at the castle. We could have done without the drama
of watching the heavens open and then having to postpone our wedding! But
once we'd accepted the ceremony and dinner would have to take place
inside, we had a great time. Thanks for everything you and everyone else

champagne on the Thursday night really hit the spot!!

On behalf of ourselves and the fifty guests who travelled with us from
United States (several of whom are quoted above), Sarah and I would like
to thank Ms. Rangoni Machiavelli and everyone at Castello di Bibbione for
the most glorious wedding week imaginable. The accommodations, the
guesthouses, the castle and its grounds were truly magnificent and
luxuriously romantic. The chapel, the dining halls, the caterers,
florists, musicians, and photographers that came recommended through you
were top-notch and professional.
And, ultimately, you and your assistants were kind, generous and a
complete joy to work with from the very first stages of planning through
our final departure. We had not visited the grounds before our
reservations; we relied on your informative website and your references to
confirm our decision. And, similarly, we had no wedding planner to assist
us - beyond you and the Convivium; you guidance in those matters was also
complete. All in all, Tuscany, the castle, you staff and those you
recommended exceeded all of our wildest expectations.
Our wedding was simply a story-book.
We will always remember this most perfect of days. You offered our party a
wonderful gift: the opportunity to enjoy the heart and soul of Tuscany
while nestled in a truly elegant and historically rich landscape.
Everything was charming; and the renovations you had done were tasteful
and wholly accommodating. Sarah, myself and all of our guests spent an
unforgettable week. Embraced by the hills of Chianti, relaxing,
daydreaming and planning on ways to return to Castello di Bibbione as soon
as humanly possible. No one from our party left Italy without the fondest
of memories. No one can stop talking about our time there with you. No one
has lost that enthusiastic smile on his face recalling the food, the wine,
and the experience as a whole. Both the seasoned travellers of Italy as
well as the first-time visitors agreed that it was a trip they will not
soon forget.

It was such a nice surprise to see you and your husband at the castle. We
sneaked at your wedding pictures from the website before, but it took some
seconds to recognize you.
You have such a wonderful property – everyone loved it, it was such a big
part of our wedding’s success, such a romantic and wonderful setting for a
wedding celebration. We had that feeling in May, but we felt it even more
on our wedding day, we couldn’t have spent it in a lovelier place.
Thanks to the info from your web page, we worked with Galateo and Carlo
Giorgi – they were so professional and wonderful. You could offer some
great wedding packages, and save young couples from dealing with “wedding
planners”.
I know that we have been a little bit of a headache in the beginning, and
we appreciate the patience you and Cristiana showed in dealing with our
many phone calls and emails, but we are so glad everything had a happy
ending. We intend to have our anniversary there, with as many friends as
possible.

We are on our way home to Los Angeles. We spent some time in Venice and
Rome before we went to Castello di Bibbione. We had a wonderful stay there
- the property was great, the pool was gorgeous - nice and big for laps.
The kids look forward to swimming every day after our day trips. Everyone
was helpful. We enjoyed going to Mamma Rosa the first night and going to
the little town San Casciano and visiting the cheese and wine stores. We
had a very positive experience at Bibbione - everything you mentioned was
right on - including the freeway noise which was a bit disappointing for
us, but we slept through it anyway with the windows closed.
Thanks very much for all your help, Pat. We enjoyed the travel journals as

My husband and I spent a delightful (but short!) week at the Castello di
Bibbione for our honeymoon. We fell in love with Italy on our trip to
venice, but Tuscany, and in particular, this spot has taken our hearts.
Everything about the castle stay was wonderful- staff were couteous,
friendly and very helpful (we have a pitiful italian accent).
The Castello apartment was unreal, we felt transported back into the 16th
century and the minute detail that the owner has gone into redecorating in
the Tuscan style was amazing. The grounds are immaculate and the
activities and services that were provided were spectacular - in
particular the wonderful breakfasts prepared by our hosts - the
Schiaciatta (sp), pecorino cheese, fruit salad and cafe latte's almost
everyday were heaven. We loved the wine tasting and tour of the
castle, so very informative and gave us a chance to socialize with the
other guests. If anyone is hesitating about this place to stay, look no
further. 20 minutes outside of Florence, and half an hour driving to San
Grimignano, Volterra and countless other charming hilltop villages was
fantastic. Perfect weather, perfect place, and perfect hostpitality.
